COVID-19 INFORMATION – FOR YOUR ATTENTION

1. COVID-19 Testing

Teams are advised that the Government approval for the Gibson McCook Relays 2022 mandates that ten percent (10%) of athletes and coaches must be tested for COVID-19, before the Gibson McCook Relays 2022.

Each team is to have at least one (1) person tested at a site approved by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. You will be advised shortly of the persons who have been selected for testing and where the samples will be taken. Payment will be made by the Gibson McCook Relays Organizing Committee.

2. Teams COVID-19 Protocol Marshals.

Teams are reminded of the following requirements as set out in the JAAA Manual for Track and Field Teams During COVID-19.

1. Team COVID-19 Protocol Marshals are reminded of the following:
   Host briefing sessions with Team before Gibson McCook Relays (GMR) 2022, regarding COVID-19 protocols.
2. Conduct Pre-Screening starting 5 days leading up to the GMR 2022, maintain logs and conduct temperature checks on the day of the GMR 2022, immediately before departing for the GMR 2022.
3. Prepare and present the Contact Tracing List for the team at the entrance of the GMR 2022 to the COVID-19 Compliance Officer.
